Lodging — TBD

A-Basin has no on-site lodging. Likely staying in Summit County:

  • Keystone (~20 min drive) — Kindred Resort is the new luxury option, steps from River Run Gondola
  • Frisco (~25 min) — walkable mountain town feel, good mid-range options
  • Dillon / Silverthorne — additional options nearby

Flights — TBD

Assumed routing: BHM → DEN on Delta. No urgency to book — Denver is a major hub; target Jan–Feb 2027.

Planning Notes

  • Capstone trip for the 2026-27 season — A-Basin has one of the longest seasons in Colorado, often open into June
  • Booking urgency is low compared to other trips — spring shoulder season means no rush
  • Extended to 9 nights specifically to make the Monday fly-home eligible for the 10-hr workweek PTO offset strategy
