Best All-Around: Snowmass + Viceroy Snowmass or Viewline Resort. Ikon Pass lift coverage, strong beginner program, and the Snowmass Mall village gives non-skiers a walkable pedestrian environment. Viewline Resort is the value play; Viceroy is the luxury step-up.
If ski school quality matters most and money is secondary: Deer Valley + Stein Eriksen or Montage — Max 4 lessons are unmatched, but lodging costs 4–5× more and the trip nearly doubles in cost.
Avoid Beaver Creek for this trip until the family has Ikon passes — the $7,500+ lift ticket cost for all 5 eliminates any cost advantage.
